Review Student’s results and attempts

Results are a great way to check students’ competence and abilities. For every Assessment provided to the students, the data of their results are saved on the platform.

The platform also allows you to have a detailed insight into the result of each student and presents the comparisons with the other students.

After logging in, your dashboard will be displayed; click on Assessment from the top panel.

 

Select a Published Assessment by clicking on View Details.

Viewing the Answer Sheet:

Click on Answer Sheet on the left-hand menu to show summary data.

 

Filter the classroom in the dropdown appropriately.

 

A summary of the attempted questions in the assessment can be seen in an Answer Sheet. It will get filtered on the basis of wrong answered questions first. This helps the teacher review quickly the most incorrectly answered questions. Besides, the Answer Sheet shows the average, score, and percentage of the students.

 

The Eye icon is available to show the correct answer when clicking on it.

 

You can click on the wrong answer (red) or missed question (blue) to open the question review page and review the question immediately.

 

To download the Answer Sheet, navigate to the top right corner and click the Download Result button.

Viewing the Results:

Next, click on Result on the left-hand menu.

Here is a list of students with their results.

 

Click on the Review button (refer to Point – 1 in the image above) to review each question of the student’s attempt.

 

To see a detailed analysis of any student, click on the View button (refer to Point – 2 above) to open the assessment report page.

 

From this page, you can also review each question of the student’s attempt by clicking the Review button at the top  (refer to Point  3 in the image below).

Score Card:

This is the overview of the Student’s Results.

Details like Total Score, Equivalent ACT Score, Percentile, and Total Time taken to complete the test are available.

 

Detailed analysis of marks in each subject and marks in each test section is also available. This helps to give a better understanding of the areas for improvement.

Solutions:

Solutions contain the answers to all the questions attempted by the student.

Details of each answer can be seen by clicking on the drop-down arrow.

Solutions can be filtered unit-wise using the menu on the left side of the screen.


 

Solutions

The answers can be filtered with the Sort By drop-down box (including Time Taken/ Incorrectly Answered/ Order of Questions). For example, all questions answered incorrectly by the student can be filtered below:

 

Click on the drop-down arrow on each question to view the answer provided by the student, the correct answer shown by clicking the eye button, and the necessary explanation for that answer.

Solutions are extremely important to figure out why answers went wrong and what their solution was; it also provides insight into which category/type of question the students have attempted incorrectly.

It helps students get a clear idea of where to focus more and improve.

Accuracy analysis:

Accuracy analysis presents a quantitative analysis of the number of incorrect questions attempted, the accuracy percentage of correct answers, the time wasted while attempting, and the missed questions.

Accuracy analysis is done unit-wise to give an in-depth analysis of where timings and accuracy can be improved.

Referring to accuracy analysis can allow students to set time goals for each unit and improve their overall accuracy.

Performance analysis:

Performance analysis presents a graphical representation of students’ performance compared to the mean of all the students who attempted the assessment.

 

Performance analysis comprises Accuracy Analysis, Speed Analysis, Pace Analysis, Exceeded Time Analysis, Streak Analysis, Proficiency Measurement, and Difficulty Analysis.

 

Performance Analysis

Unit-wise analysis can be seen using the unit-wise filter on the left side of the screen.

Comparative Analysis:

With Comparative Analysis, the statistical representation of students’ performance helps to present a clear picture of student competence compared to his/her peers.

 

Recommendations:

Based on the student’s performance in the assessment, the system has identified areas of improvement and generated a personalized assessment for the student to practice more.

 

Click the Create And Assign button to create and assign a new assessment to the particular student.
