Creating an Institute
Having/Being a part of an institution allows you to share the workload with educators of your institute. It also allows you to teach more subjects to a larger student audience.
Having an Institute allows you to access various tools and interact with other educators. Follow the steps below to learn how to create an Institute.
Creating Institute
When a new teacher signs up and indicates that they are also the director of a new institute, they will be directed to the institute setup page. This feature is beneficial as it streamlines the process for new directors, providing them with a seamless experience when setting up their institute.
Click here to learn how to set up the institute when signing up as a teacher.
In case you are an independent teacher and now want to create your institute, follow these directions below to become a director and set up your institute.
Assuming you’re already logged in and on your Dashboard, scroll down to the bottom right side of the screen, and you’ll see an option to Setup Institute.
Click on Setup Institute.
Click on Start to proceed.
Enter the Name of the Institution and the Institute Code as an identifier. You can share this code with your students and other teachers later.
To check the availability of the code, click Check Availability.
Once the availability of the code is verified, click on Save and Next.
Select the programs you want to teach in your Institution (you can select as many programs). In case your preferred program isn’t on the list, you can always create a new program (Subjects, units, and topics) later in the Administration section.
Click on Save and Next.
Add your institute logo, contact number, email, and a brief description. Click Save to finish.
Congratulations! Your Institute is now set up.
