Subject-Specific Practice Assessments: Targeted Practice
for Improved Performance
One-size-fits-all approaches don’t always work in education. That’s why we’ve added a new feature that allows educators to assign subject-specific practice assessments directly from the user activity page. By
selecting the subject and unit, teachers can assign tailored practice tests that focus on students’ weak areas. This ensures that students receive the practice they need to improve their performance in specific subjects. To access Subject Practice : Users -> Click on student name -> Assign Subject Practice.
Notification Bar for Announcements: Effective Communication Across the Platform
Communication is key in any educational setting. To help you deliver important messages effectively, we’ve added a notification bar feature. Whether you need to announce an offer, send a reminder, or make an important announcement, this bar will display your message at the top of every page for both students and teachers. Setting up your notification is easy—just navigate to Profile → My Institute → Appearance, and you’re ready to go!
Question-Wise Grid in Assessment Results: Comprehensive Performance Analysis
Understanding how students tackle individual questions is key to helping them improve. Our new question-wise grid on the assessment results page gives you a detailed look at each student’s approach. You’ll see things like highlighted text, crossed-out options, bookmarks, and the time spent on each question. This makes it easy for educators to check if students are using the right strategies to solve problems.
To access this feature: Open results -> Click View -> Scorecard -> Scroll down to see the answer sheet.
Transfer Student Results Across Classrooms: Flexibility in Student Progress Management
Sometimes, teachers want their leads to take a diagnostic test, and later, when the student becomes a paying member, they might need to move the student and their test results to a new classroom. Before, we didn’t have the option to do this, but now we do. Directors can simply turn on the “Move Result” toggle in institute preferences, making it easy to transfer a student’s results from one classroom to another. To enable this feature, just go to Profile → Preferences → and switch on the “Move Result” toggle. This is really helpful for reorganizing classes or adjusting to a student’s changing needs without losing any of their progress.
Direct Classroom Link in Settings: Streamlined Student Onboarding
Before, adding students to a classroom meant teachers had to either enter their email addresses one by one or give out a classroom code, which took a lot of time. Now, we’ve made it much easier with a direct classroom link. Students can use this link to join the classroom right after they register, without having to take a test. This makes onboarding quicker and ensures a smooth transition into the learning environment.
To use this feature: Go to Classroom -> Open classroom -> Settings -> Copy link.
Enhanced Sorting in Classroom Results: Simplifying Data Management
Managing classroom data can be challenging, especially with large groups and multiple assessments. To make this easier, we’ve introduced a new sorting feature on the classroom results page. Educators can now sort student results by name, assessment, time, or score in both ascending and descending order. This update allows teachers to quickly identify top performers, track specific results, and manage their classrooms more efficiently.
Enhanced Filters in Answer Sheets: Simplified Data Analysis
We’ve made it easier to analyze assessment results by introducing enhanced filters in the answer sheets for section-adaptive and full-length assessments. Now, directors and teachers can sort answer sheets by
assessment or module, and even by the order of questions. This update simplifies the process of identifying commonly missed questions and helps educators deliver quicker, more targeted feedback to students.
Detailed User Activity Data: In-Depth Student Monitoring
Keeping an eye on student engagement is key to spotting where extra help might be needed. Our new detailed user activity feature gives directors and teachers access to all the important info about each student’s activity, like assessment attempts, login history, total time spent, and even the browser they used. This helps educators understand student behavior better and offer more targeted support.
To access this: Go to Users -> Click on the student’s name -> Check the activity.
Helping You Grow: Connecting Students with Recommended Tutors
We sometimes have students who are actively searching for tutors. Connecting students with the right tutors is essential for their success. Our new feature allows us to showcase recommended tutors directly on the platform, along with their contact details. This makes it easier for students who are actively searching for tutors to find the support they need, while also giving tutors more visibility and growth opportunities within the HighScores ecosystem. This feature is exclusive to our platform and not available for external institutes. However, to appear in our recommendations tab, you need to go to Preferences and switch on the “Recommend” toggle.
Auto-Abandonment of Incomplete Tests: Maintaining Assessment Integrity
To ensure fairness and consistency in assessments, any test left incomplete for more than 12 hours will now be automatically marked as abandoned. This prevents ongoing attempts from remaining active indefinitely and helps maintain a controlled testing environment. Both students and teachers can trust that the integrity of the testing process is upheld.

1. Follow-Up Emails for Unread Messages: We’ll soon introduce a feature that sends a follow-up email to users who haven’t checked their messages. This ensures important communications don’t go unnoticed.
2. Updated Highlight Functionality in SAT View: We’re working on adjusting the highlight functionality in SAT view to match the bluebook standards, enhancing the test-taking experience.
3. Validate the genuinity of the test: We’re developing a feature that tracks the number of times students exit the window and the time they spend outside of full-screen mode during assessments. This will help maintain focus and integrity during testing.
4. Add Questions from Question bank in Existing Assessment: Educators will soon have the ability to add questions to existing assessments directly from the question bank, making it easier to create custom assessments.
5. Download License Report: A new feature will allow directors to download license reports, simplifying administrative tasks and providing detailed insights into platform usage.
6. DSAT Course Enhancements: We’re continuously working on our DSAT courses, with upcoming updates focusing on English and Math sections.
